What to expect in therapy with me
I provide Jungian psychotherapy, which is a form of talk therapy.
Jungian therapy is a creative and imaginal process where we explore your feelings and discuss challenges and concerns you face. Because we consider your unconscious as well as what is going on consciously, we incorporate images from your dreams – when they appear – into therapy appointments.
Sessions are 1 hr, 1.5 hrs. or 2 hrs. long and clients generally choose to see me once or twice per week, either in-person or via video call.
If choosing face-to-face consultations, meetings are held in my downtown Rosedale office across from Summerhill subway. The office is a serene environment in which to focus your gaze inward. Please note that during COVID-19, all therapy sessions are online.
You might bring a recent dream to the therapy session. As you feel comfortable, you may introduce concerns and pressures in your life.
To get the most out of Jungian therapy with me, you may wish to journal about what comes up for you in therapy sessions. This can provide an opportunity to learn about yourself in a new and deeper way.
